Working Principle:

The electric motor drives the grinding table to rotate through a gearbox. Material is fed onto the center of the grinding table via the feed inlet, while hot air enters the mill through the air inlet simultaneously. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material moves toward the edge of the grinding table. As it passes through the annular groove on the table, it is crushed and ground by the rotating rollers. The pulverized material is then lifted by high-velocity airflow from the nozzle ring at the table periphery. Coarse particles fall back onto the grinding table for regrinding, while the material entrained in the airflow passes through the combined dynamic and static classifier. Under the action of the rotating rotor, coarse particles are rejected and returned to the table for further grinding, whereas qualified fine particles are carried out of the mill with the airflow and collected by the dust collection system as finished product. During the contact with hot gas, the moisture contained in the material is evaporated and dried, ensuring the final product meets the required moisture specifications.

(2) Roller sleeves are reversible, extending the service life of wear-resistant materials.
(3) No need to pre-spread material on the grinding table before start-up; the mill can be started under no-load conditions, eliminating start-up difficulties.
(4) Low wear rate—roller and table liners are made of special wear-resistant materials, ensuring long service life.
(5) High degree of automation: The automatic control system employs Siemens PLC (Germany) series, enabling remote control and simplified operation. The workshop can essentially operate unattended, significantly reducing operating costs.

3. Low Overall Investment Cost

Integrating crushing, drying, grinding, and conveying into a single unit, the system features a simple process flow, fewer auxiliary equipment, compact layout, and a small footprint—only 50% of that of a ball mill. It can be installed outdoors, further reducing construction costs and directly lowering the overall capital investment for enterprises.

Material Adaptability:

Material Moisture: Handles feed materials with moisture content from 20%–30% (e.g., carbide slag, lignite, chalk) down to <1% (e.g., cement clinker);

Grindability: Processes both extremely hard-to-grind materials (e.g., quartz sand, steel slag, blast furnace slag, pyrophyllite, iron ore) and easy-to-grind materials (e.g., gypsum, calcite);

 

Product Fineness: Achieves finished product sizes from 2–5mm (e.g., brick-making raw materials, construction sand from shale) down to 15μm with 97% passing rate (e.g., ground calcium carbonate for paper and chemical industries). Fineness adjustment is simple and precise.
