Working Principle

The motor drives the grinding disc via the reducer. Material enters through the feeding port to the center of the rotating disc, while hot air enters the grinding chamber through the air inlet. Under centrifugal force, the material moves to the edge of the disc and is crushed by the grinding roller as it passes through the circular groove. The crushed material is picked up by high-speed airflow at the disc edge, with large particles falling back onto the disc for re-grinding. The material carried by the airflow then enters the dynamic-static separator, where the rotating rotor causes coarse powder to return to the disc for further grinding, while qualified fine powder is conveyed with the airflow. This fine powder is collected by the collecting device as the final product. For materials containing moisture, drying occurs during contact with the hot air, ensuring the final product meets the required moisture content.

Our vertical mill is specially designed for talc grinding, and is also suitable for other non-metallic minerals with similar grindability: chlorite, pyrophyllite, kaolin, gypsum, etc., which have similar hardness and processing requirements as talc.

The processing capacity for talc is 1–45 tons per hour.
