Product Overview​

Working Principle

The PJP jet pump pneumatic conveying system consists of a jet pump, a pneumatic butterfly valve, a pump-top hopper, a manual screw gate, and an air supply unit (primarily a Roots blower).

Powdery and granular materials pass sequentially through the manual screw gate, the pump-top hopper, and the pneumatic butterfly valve to enter the jet pump. As compressed air passes through the nozzle inside the pump body, the resulting high-speed airflow creates a negative pressure within the pump. This causes the material in the pump-top hopper to mix with the high-speed airflow. When this gas-solid mixture passes through the diffuser of the injection device, the kinetic energy of the high-speed airflow is converted into static pressure energy, ultimately transporting the material to its destination through the delivery pipe.

The manual screw gate is used for commissioning and maintenance, while the pneumatic butterfly valve controls the start and stop of material conveying and will automatically close in the event of abnormal system pressure.

Two Operating Modes:

1.  Under-silo Installation: When the jet pump is installed at the bottom of a silo, it utilizes the pressure from the material column in the silo for conveying. In this mode, the conveying capacity fluctuates with changes in the material height within the silo.

2.  With Rotary Airlock: When the jet pump is equipped with a rotary airlock, the conveying capacity is determined by the discharge rate of the airlock, resulting in more stable conveying.
