Our dense phase pneumatic conveying bin pump, also named pressure sending tank, is core equipment for bulk dry powder closed transportation. The volume of the pump is determined based on the properties, particle size, conveying distance, and conveying capacity of the material. This means each unit is custom-designed to meet the process requirements while minimizing energy consumption. Full automatic PLC control realizes batch stable feeding, no dust leakage, low air consumption and long conveying distance. Widely applied in power plants, cement factories, metallurgy, chemical and mining industries.




The pneumatic conveying bin pump operates in intermittent circulation mode with four working phases:
Phase 1: Feeding
The feeding valve and vent valve open simultaneously. Materials fall into the pump body by gravity until the level gauge (or time relay) sends a full-bin signal, then both valves close automatically.
Phase 2: Fluidization & Pressurization
The air inlet valve opens, and compressed air flows into the upper and lower parts of the tank. Air at the bottom passes through fluidizing devices (aeration plates or nozzle groups) to fluidize materials, while internal tank pressure rises gradually.
Phase 3: Conveying
When the tank pressure reaches the preset value, the discharge valve opens automatically. Fluidized materials are pushed by compressed air into the conveying pipeline, and delivered to the target silo in low-speed high-density plug flow, which greatly reduces pipeline abrasion.
Phase 4: Purging
After material conveying is completed, tank pressure drops. Compressed air keeps feeding for a period to purge the pipeline and eliminate residual materials. Afterwards, close the air inlet valve, shut off the discharge valve after delay, open the feeding valve and start the next circulation.
